Applications for most NSP scholarships opened on June 1, 2026. The last date for fresh applications for most schemes is October 31, 2026. Some Pre-Matric scholarships may have an earlier deadline of August 31, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

These scholarships are for Indian nationals. Students from Class 1 up to PhD levels can apply. Eligibility varies by scheme, including income and academic requirements. Students should not hold other major government scholarships.

Application Process

Aadhaar and DBT Reminders

An Aadhaar-linked bank account is essential for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Ensure your Aadhaar is seeded with the NPCI Mapper. Your biometric lock on Aadhaar must be unlocked for face authentication during OTR. Check your bank's DBT enabled status.
