The scholarship provides financial assistance up to ₹36 lakh for candidates with an annual family income up to ₹8 lakh, and up to ₹24 lakh for those with an annual family income between ₹8 lakh and ₹12 lakh. This covers tuition fees, living expenses, visa fees, medical insurance, economy-class airfare (to and from), equipment allowance, and applicable taxes. The benefit is provided directly to eligible beneficiaries after approval by the competent authority, implying Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to Aadhaar-seeded accounts.
