All amounts are disbursed directly via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to the student's Aadhaar-seeded bank savings account as educational assistance.

Selection Process

  • Candidates are selected based on community certificate (SC/ST/SCA/SCC), Tamil Nadu residency, and parental annual income below ₹2.5 Lakhs

  • The process involves institute nodal officer verification of bonafide status, fees paid, and marks, followed by approval from the District Welfare Officer and State Board, and final fund disbursement via DBT.

Renewal Policy

  • Annual renewal is mandatory and requires proof of promotion to the next class, no failure in the previous exam, and an updated income certificate

  • The institution must verify and forward the renewal application to the District Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Officer for sanction.
