Q.Do I need to have an offer of admission before applying for the Think Big Scholarship?
No, you do not need to have received a formal offer to study before submitting your international scholarship application. However, you must have already applied to an eligible course at the University of Bristol and received an application ID. For 2026/2027 entry, you must receive an offer to study by April 24, 2026, or your scholarship application will be withdrawn.
Q.What does the Think Big Scholarship cover?
The Think Big Scholarship provides funding towards your tuition fees, applied as a direct discount. It does not offer a cash alternative for the tuition fee component. Additionally, postgraduate applicants may be eligible for a £3,000 living cost bursary, paid directly into their bank account during their first year of study, or a £3,000 Think Big Career Accelerator scholarship.

No, Think Big Scholarship awards are valid for entry in September 2026 only and cannot be deferred. If you choose to defer your place at the University, your scholarship cannot be transferred to the deferred year.
