The scholarship provides monthly maintenance allowances ranging from ₹230 for Group 4 day scholars (e.g., ITI, Polytechnic) to ₹1,200 for Group 1 hostellers (e.g., Medicine, Engineering). In addition to this, compulsory non-refundable fees, including tuition fees as fixed by applicable State fee-fixation arrangements, are reimbursed. Other benefits may include study tour charges, thesis typing/printing charges for research scholars, book allowance for correspondence courses, book bank facility for specified courses, and additional allowances for students with disabilities (10% extra academic allowance). All scholarship amounts are disbursed directly into Aadhaar-seeded bank accounts of the beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Renewal Policy
