Students are automatically eligible for Jagananna Vasathi Deevena Scheme after applying for Jagananna Vidya Deevena Scheme. Selection is based on community category (SC/ST/BC/EBC/Kapu/Minority/Differently Abled), family income not exceeding Rs. 2.50 lakhs, residency requirement, and eligibility course criteria. Ineligibility factors are checked including property ownership, four-wheeler possession, government employee status, and tax payer status in family.

Students belonging to SC, ST, BC, EBC, Kapu, Minority, and Differently Abled categories with family income not exceeding Rs. 2.50 lakhs and studying in eligible courses in Andhra Pradesh or other states are eligible.

Q.What is the scholarship amount?

Rs. 10,000 per year for ITI students, Rs. 15,000 for Polytechnic students, and Rs. 20,000 for Degree and above courses.

Q.How is the amount transferred?

Financial assistance is directly transferred to the mother's bank account in two instalments (July and December) through Aadhar-enabled direct bank transfer.

Q.What is the attendance requirement?

Students must maintain 75% attendance for the release of scholarship amount.

Q.Which courses are not eligible?

Students studying in deemed/private universities, distance learning courses, management/sports/NRI quota, and PG courses in private colleges are not eligible.
