Additionally, a monthly maintenance allowance is provided for up to 10 months, ranging from ₹230 to ₹1,200, depending on the course type and whether the student is a hosteller or day scholar. For day scholars, the monthly allowance varies from ₹230 to ₹550 (Group 4 to Group 1 courses), and for hostellers, it ranges from ₹380 to ₹1200 (Group 4 to Group 1 courses). Funds are disbursed through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) directly into the Aadhaar-seeded bank accounts of eligible beneficiaries.

They must be pursuing post-matric education (Class 11 or above, including diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate courses) in a government-recognized institution within Maharashtra
