Additionally, a maintenance allowance of ₹1,000 per month for hostellers and ₹500 per month for day scholars is provided for a period of 10 months in an academic year. The scholarship amount is disbursed through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to Aadhaar-seeded bank accounts of the beneficiaries.
