About the Program

The Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship for Minorities (MCM) in Karnataka provides financial assistance to minority community students pursuing professional and technical courses at UG and PG levels. Administered by Ministry of Minority Affairs through NSP and Karnataka Directorate of Minorities through SSP, this scholarship offers Rs 20,000 per year.     NSP OTR Registration (MANDATORY FIRST) - Visit scholarships.gov.in, complete One Time Registration with Aadhaar Face Authentication via NSP OTR App, receive OTR Number.

    Apply on NSP (PRIMARY) - Login with OTR, select MCM for Minorities scheme, select Karnataka, fill form, upload documents, submit, note NSP Application ID.

    Apply on Karnataka SSP (SECONDARY) - Visit ssp.postmatric.karnataka.gov.in, select Minority Welfare MCM, enter NSP Application ID (mandatory), fill SSP form, upload documents, complete e-attestation if required.
