Karnataka's Pre-Matric OBC scholarship assists backward class students in Classes 1-10 with different income limits for Category 1 (₹2.5L) versus Categories 2A/3A/3B (₹1L).
Benefits & Financial Support
The scholarship amount varies by class: ₹750 per annum for Classes 1–5, ₹900 for Classes 6–8, and ₹1,000 for Classes 9–10. Funds are transferred via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) directly to the student's Aadhaar-seeded bank account after e-KYC verification and approval at institute, district, and state levels.
