The scholarship provides a monthly maintenance allowance of ₹500 for day scholars and ₹800 for hostellers (payable for up to 10-12 months), a book grant of ₹1,000 per annum, and a disability allowance ranging from ₹2,000 to ₹4,000 per annum depending on the type of disability (₹4,000 for visual impairment or intellectual disabilities, ₹2,000 for other disabilities). The scholarship amount is transferred directly to Aadhaar-seeded bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

How to Apply Online
Applications are submitted online via Online. Complete eKYC, upload scanned documents, and submit before the closing date.

Visit the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) at scholarships.gov.in and complete your One Time Registration (OTR) using your Aadhaar number. This OTR is a unique identifier for your academic career on NSP.

Before applying, log in to the UDID portal and provide consent to share your UDID details with NSP.
- 3Application Form
After OTR, log in to NSP and fill out the 'Pre-Matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities' application form.
- 4Document Upload
Upload all required documents, including your disability certificate (40% or more benchmark disability), UDID card or UDID enrolment proof, parent's income certificate, Aadhaar-seeded bank passbook, previous year's marksheet, proof of admission, and a passport-size photo.

Ensure your bank account is seeded with your Aadhaar number for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) of the scholarship amount.
