The Pre-Matric Scholarship (OBC/SBC/EBC) by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Government of Rajasthan, provides a maintenance allowance ranging from ₹60 to ₹150 per month. This allowance is provided for 10 months to eligible school students in classes 6 to 10. Therefore, the minimum annual amount is ₹600 (₹60 x 10 months) and the estimated highest annual amount is ₹1500 (₹150 x 10 months). The scholarship amount is disbursed directly to the student's Aadhaar-seeded bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

How to Apply Online

Scan and upload all required documents, including your Caste Certificate, Income Certificate (issued by a competent authority for the current financial year), Domicile/Residence Certificate, Jan Aadhaar Card, School attendance/enrollment proof, Marksheet of the previous qualifying examination, Fee receipt, and a bank passbook showing an Aadhaar-linked account in the student's name.

Submit the application online to the block development desk or through your school, which may register via the Shala Darpan portal for pre-matric students.

Save your application ID for future reference. To track your application status, visit sje.rajasthan.gov.in, click on 'Application Status', enter your Application Number/Registration Number, select the Academic Year (e.g., 2025-26 or 2026-27), and click 'Search'.
