The Pre Matric Scholarship for ST students in Odisha provides financial assistance covering school fees, books, uniform and maintenance allowance for students from Scheduled Tribe families with income below ₹2.5 lakh studying in Class 9-10.
Benefits & Financial Support
Provides financial assistance for ST students in Class 9 and 10. For hostel boarders, the annual amount is ₹16,000 for male students and ₹17,000 for female students. For day scholars, the amount includes a monthly allowance and ad-hoc grants. Payment is made through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) directly into the student's Aadhaar-seeded bank account.
