About the Program
Karnataka's Pre-Matric ST scholarship supports tribal community students in Classes 1-10 with tuition coverage and maintenance allowance, mirroring SC scheme structure with same income limits and benefits.
Benefits & Financial Support
Day scholars receive ₹1,500 per year; Hostellers receive ₹3,000 per year.

Financial assistance structure identical to SC Pre-Matric: state-funded for Classes 1-8 (₹6L income limit) and centrally-funded for Classes 9-10 (₹2.5L limit)
