The UP Post-Matric Scholarship (Outside State) supports students from Uttar Pradesh who have secured admission in recognized higher education institutions located outside Uttar Pradesh.
Benefits & Financial Support
Tuition fee reimbursement and monthly maintenance allowance up to ₹50,000 per year for UP residents studying in recognized institutions outside the state.

Must be enrolled in BA, BSc, BCom, MA, MSc, MCom, BTech, MTech, MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA, PhD. Minimum 50% marks required in previous exam.

Merit-cum-income criteria
The family income must be under ₹2 Lakhs for General and ₹2.5 Lakhs for SC/ST students studying in other states.
Renewal Policy
Must apply for renewal online every year by uploading previous semester/year marksheets and college registration certificates.
Application Process

Complete the OTR process using Aadhaar OTP.

Login, select the "Outside State" scheme, enter college name, state, university details, and fee structure.

Upload the college fee schedule signed by the college head, Domicile certificate, income, and caste certificates.
