Selection Process

Selection based on: OBC caste verification (GoI/State notified list), Income verification by category, Distance/location requirement (>= 5 km rural OR different city/town), Academic performance (category-specific marks + 75% attendance), Hostel status check (NOT in govt hostel), Family limit (max 2 males), Merit-cum-means ranking within eligible pool, Category reservation (Cat 1 vs 2A/3A/3B), Institution validation, Processing through college → taluk → district officers → final approval, DBT payment.
