Q.When does the application period for the 2026-2027 Rotary Peace Fellowship open and close?
Applications for the 2026-2027 academic year will open in February 2026. Candidates must submit their applications by May 15, 2026, and district endorsements are due by July 1, 2026.
Q.Is the Rotary Peace Fellowship a full scholarship, and what does it cover?
Yes, it is a fully funded fellowship. It covers tuition and fees, room and board, round-trip transportation, and all internship and field-study expenses.
Q.Can I apply to study in my home country, especially the United States?
Fellows can only be assigned to a Rotary Peace Center outside of their home country or country of permanent residence. For applicants from the United States, this means they cannot apply to the Duke University and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Peace Center.
Q.Do I need to be accepted into a university before applying for the Rotary Peace Fellowship?
No, you should not apply to any Rotary Peace Center university partner until Rotary notifies you that you have been selected for the fellowship. If you are selected, you will then need to apply for and gain admission to your assigned university.
