Students must be Haryana domicile, belong to Backward Classes (BC) or Other Backward Classes (OBC), be enrolled in Class 11 or above (Post Matric level), have minimum 50% marks in previous examination, and maintain 75% attendance in the previous academic session.

The annual family income must not exceed ₹2,50,000 per annum for BC/OBC students to be eligible for the scholarship.
