The scholarship amount is variable and depends on the course category and whether the student is a hosteller or day scholar. It can range from ₹2,500 to ₹13,500 annually for various courses. For degree and post-graduate level professional courses (Group 1), it can include an academic allowance of ₹10,000 yearly and tuition fee assistance of ₹10,000 yearly, totaling up to ₹20,000. For other professional courses (Group 2), an academic allowance of ₹8,000 yearly and tuition fee assistance of ₹5,000 yearly is provided. For graduate and post-graduate courses not covered in Group 1 & 2, it includes an academic allowance of ₹6,000 yearly and tuition fee assistance of ₹2,000 yearly. All post-matriculation non-degree courses (Post Class 10th level) receive an academic allowance of ₹5,000 yearly. The scholarship components for fee reimbursement, tuition fees, and maintenance allowance are transferred directly into the student's Aadhaar-seeded bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Candidates must be Indian nationals domiciled in Haryana and belong to Backward Classes (BC), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), or Denotified and Nomadic Tribes (DNT) communities

It is mandatory to complete One-Time Registration (OTR) on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) at `https://scholarships.gov.in/` before applying on the state portal. For Academic Year 2025-26 and General Application Process:

Go to the Har-Chhatravratti Scholarship Portal at `https://harchhatravratti.highereduhry.ac.in/`.
- 3Student Registration
Click on the 'Student Registration' option for new applicants. If you are renewing, proceed to 'User Login'.
- 4Enter Family ID (PPP)
Register using your Parivar Pehchaan Patra (PPP) / Family ID. Your details will be fetched from the PPP. Ensure all particulars (Name, DOB, Aadhaar No. etc.) are updated in PPP.
