Selection Process

  • Candidates must be permanent residents of Haryana and belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category

  • The annual family income from all sources must not exceed ₹2,50,000

  • Applicants must be enrolled in a post-matric or post-secondary level course (Class 11 or above) at a recognized institution

  • A minimum of 50% marks in the previous examination and 75% attendance in the previous academic session are mandatory

  • The selection process involves a multi-layer verification system where applications are verified by the nodal officer of the concerned institution, followed by the district nodal officer, city magistrate, and finally the state nodal officer before the scholarship amount is transferred

  • The Har-Chhatravratti portal is integrated with the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) scheme, making it mandatory for applicants to have a PPP.

Renewal Policy

  • For annual renewal, students must be promoted to the next class/level

  • The scholarship renewal is subject to the student maintaining good conduct and prescribed attendance (minimum 75%) throughout the academic year

  • Students failing to get promoted will not be awarded the scholarship.

    From the 2026-27 session, it is mandatory for all students applying for the PMS-SC scholarship to first obtain a One-Time Registration (OTR) on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) at `https://scholarships.gov.in`.

Also, include BPL Certificate (if applicable) and Father's Death Certificate (if applicable).
