Post-Matric Scholarship for SC students in Tripura ensures financial barriers do not prevent Scheduled Caste students from attaining higher education.

The scholarship provides an academic allowance ranging from ₹2,300 (for Group-IV day scholars) to ₹15,000 per annum (for higher course levels/hostellers). This amount covers day-to-day maintenance costs. Additionally, compulsory non-refundable fees, including tuition fees, as fixed by the state government's fee fixation committee, are also covered. The scholarship amount is typically payable for 10 months in an academic year. Payments are disbursed directly into the Aadhaar-seeded bank accounts of eligible students through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
