The Sudakshya for Girls Child Scholarship provides comprehensive financial support to girl students in Odisha pursuing ITI ITC Polytechnic and Diploma courses with maintenance allowance of ₹1500 per month for hostellers or ₹500 for day scholars plus full fee reimbursement uniform cost and apprenticeship support.
Benefits & Financial Support
Provides complete reimbursement of admission, tuition, development, exam, library, and hostel fees. Additionally, hostellers receive a monthly maintenance allowance of ₹1,500 and day scholars receive ₹500 (for 10 months). Also includes a one-time uniform allowance of ₹3,000. Payment is disbursed via DBT to the girl student's Aadhaar-seeded bank account.

Renewal Policy
Requires passing the previous semester/year exams, maintaining minimum attendance (typically 75%), and having the online renewal application validated and verified by the institute Principal/head.

Q.Can a student receiving another scholarship apply for Sudakshya?
Yes, but they will only receive the differential amount (extra benefits not covered under the other scholarship) to prevent duplicate funding.
