The scholarship amounts vary based on the course and community. For students in 11th and 12th standards, tuition fee assistance of ₹500 per year (₹50 per month for 10 months) is provided, along with full examination fee coverage for 12th-standard students. For students pursuing ITI, Diploma in Polytechnics, Post Graduate, Professional, and Ph.D. courses, tuition and special fees are sanctioned as fixed for Government educational institutions, with full examination fee and notified book money also covered. For eligible BC, MBC, and DNC students pursuing UG/PG courses in prestigious institutions like IIT, IIM, IIIT, NIT, and Central Universities, the scholarship reimburses actual fees paid or up to ₹2,00,000 per year, whichever is less, for the entire duration of the course. Under the Free Education Scholarship (Degree) scheme, special fees and non-refundable compulsory fees are sanctioned, with tuition fees completely waived for eligible students. Additionally, students residing in hostels attached to educational institutions may receive boarding and lodging charges of ₹4,000 per year (₹400 per month for 10 months). Scholarship amounts are disbursed directly into Aadhaar-seeded bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
